Dimont and Associates was founded by attorney Bernie Dimont. In the early nineties his mortgage servicing clients and resulting claims activity grew rapidly, so in 1996 Bernie closed his law practice to focus entirely on building hazard claims solutions for those clients.

With a commitment to building industry best practices, Bernie streamlined processes and created the first hazard claims tracking and management software, Eldorado, named after the legendary lost city of gold, as it would be the key to managing large volumes and realizing a fortune in untapped claim dollars in servicing portfolios.

Bernie knew that even a leading edge tracking and management system would be handicapped without a highly effective method of portfolio surveillance to detect and determine peril coverage of property damages.

These proprietary technology and surveillance techniques are constantly evolving to provide best practices to an ever changing servicing community.

Although his CEO responsibilities have grown over the years along with his company, Bernie keeps his finger on the pulse of the operation. These days you’ll frequently find him in the Dallas or San Diego production centers talking with the surveillance and adjusting staff.

Dimont & Associates has grown over the last 15 years from a small operation with just a few employees to a large team of over 200 knowledgeable professionals in multiple states all working to maximize hazard claims recoveries for their clients.
